Next Level Soccer from Australia was the first team to register for 2023. When they participate in Gothia Cup Cancún it will be their first tournament abroad.
The registration for the first edition of Gothia Cup Cancún opened in the end of March and the very first team to register was Next Level Soccer Australia.
Coach Lewis Thompson was looking for a tournament to bring his B14 team to during the school holiday in January and found Gothia Cup Cancún. Since the academy only started two years ago they have not yet been to any tournaments abroad, but in January 2023 they will participate in their first tournament overseas. Until now the team has participated in some tournaments in Australia and have been very successful winning their last tournament unbeaten.
